Millennium senior Alaina Diggs swept the Division 2 girls shot and discus throw at the Arizona AIA Outdoor State Championships at Mesa Community College. Diggs elevated to No. 4 in state history in the shot put with a fourth-round mark of 46-9.50 (14.26m) and prevailed in the discus with a throw of 133-8 (40.74m).
