De'mykal Anderson, a junior at Sunrise Mountain High, matched his personal best to win the Division 2 boys high jump with a first-attempt clearance at 6-2 (1.87m) at the Arizona State Championships at Mesa Community College. Anderson was one of four competitors to clear 6-2, but prevailed based on fewest misses.
