Joy Moorer, a junior at North Canyon High, won the Division 2 girls 300-meter hurdles in a lifetime-best 41.69 seconds to produce the second-fastest time in Arizona history and No. 4 prep mark in the country this year at the AIA Outdoor Championships at Perry High in Gilbert. Moorer also finished second in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.42 seconds, but was unable to complete the 200 final after suffering a quadriceps injury.
